Driver requirements
Because we deliver alcohol, the bar is higher than standard courier work. You must meet every requirement below to be considered.
- Aged 20 or over (legal requirement to deliver alcohol in NZ)
- Full NZ Class 1 driver's licence held for at least 12 months
- Clean driving record and no relevant criminal convictions
- Reliable vehicle (sedan, hatch, wagon or van) — WoF and registration current
- Comprehensive vehicle insurance with delivery / commercial use endorsement
- Smartphone (iOS 15+ or Android 10+) with a working data plan
- Right to work in New Zealand (citizen, resident or valid work visa)
- Hold or willing to obtain a Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) — we can help
- Able to verify customer photo ID at the door and refuse delivery when required
- Available for at least 2 shifts per week (lunch, dinner or late-night windows)
